NGOYILA – Empowering Communities is a recognized non-profit organization based in Sierra Leone. Established by passionate, community-driven leaders, NGOYILA was created out of a shared commitment to address the challenges faced by underserved communities. We believe that sustainable change begins at the grassroots — where empowered individuals and united communities can lead their own development and create lasting impact.

NGOYILA is guided by a dedicated five-member Board of Directors, responsible for shaping organizational policy, mobilizing resources, and ensuring that our mission to empower communities remains at the heart of everything we do.
Since our founding, NGOYILA has made meaningful progress in empowering communities across Sierra Leone and nearby regions. Through our targeted programs and initiatives, we’ve supported individuals in building sustainable livelihoods, promoted environmental stewardship, improved health awareness, and strengthened local economies and social unity.
NGOYILA operates through two main bodies:

Our regulations guide responsible management in key areas such as project implementation, human resources, organizational development, and financial administration. NGOYILA is powered by a team of dedicated and experienced professionals who are deeply committed to social impact, community development, and environmental sustainability.
