About Empower Youths Through Agriculture

Building Futures Through Farming

At NGOYILA, we see agriculture not just as a means of livelihood but as a powerful tool for youth empowerment. Our Agriculture and Youth Development program equips young people with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed in modern, sustainable farming—helping them become self-sufficient and contribute to local food security and economic growth.

Youth Agriculture in Bo

This initiative focuses on empowering young people in Bo and surrounding areas through hands-on agricultural training, mentorship, and access to land, tools, and markets. We offer workshops on climate-smart farming techniques, post-harvest processing, agribusiness development, and cooperative building. By integrating entrepreneurship with agriculture, we help youth turn farming into a viable and respected career path. Our goal is to reduce unemployment, promote self-reliance, and ensure a thriving agricultural future led by the next generation.

How You Can Help?

You can support youth empowerment through agriculture by joining NGOYILA’s efforts. Volunteer as a mentor, donate tools or seeds, sponsor a training program, or help connect young farmers to markets and investors. Together, we can create pathways for rural youth to thrive, lead, and build sustainable livelihoods in agriculture.
